Experience the Wadden Sea with Mandø Seal Tours.

Join us at the "ramp," Skælbankrampen, on the north side of Mandø, right by the large lake.

We embark together, equipped with our tools: garden spades, shrimp nets, binoculars. Along the way to the seals, we dig and discover sandworms. We catch shrimp and perhaps small fish. We even indulge in live shrimp. Throughout the journey, you'll receive insights into the Wadden Sea, birdlife, migratory birds, life alongside the dominating neighbor, the sea, storm surges, and the people who chose to inhabit the islands—the Frisians—along with insights into children's lives and more. As we approach the seals, about 2 km from Mandø, we share tales of the sea's magnificent mammals: the harbor seal and gray seal. If the seals are not on the shore we can access, we set up binoculars to observe their lives on a small sandbank. Feel free to bring your packed lunch and enjoy it once we reach the embankment.
