Oysters and Champagne amidst the Wild Beauty of the Wadden Sea
Embark on a two-kilometer-long hike out to the oyster banks, where you will continuously gain fascinating insights into the unique ecosystem of the Wadden Sea. Here, you will learn about the rich birdlife, including migratory birds, and how life unfolds with the sea as a dominant neighbor. You'll hear about storm surges and the Frisian people who chose to settle on the islands.
As a special experience, we can prepare the gathered oysters with various flavor profiles, and you are welcome to take home as many oysters as you can eat...
The seal Safari Experience
On this exciting excursion, we will move together with our equipment. Along the way, we will dig for sandworms and catch shrimp, and possibly small fish, which the brave among us can eat alive. Throughout the journey, we will learn about the Wadden Sea, birdlife, migratory birds, and how to live with the sea as a dominant neighbor, including dealing with storm surges and the people who have chosen to live on the island.
